61 Waratah Lane: an improvised aussie sitcom

The Big Hoo-Haa Melbourne

In an age before reality TV, Instagram, Netflix and Youtube, when houses were cheap, when fear of communism was a thing, before Kylie was an international sex symbol, there was… the Aussie sitcom.

We are taking you back, with a very special episode of a classic aussie sitcom – decided by YOU, and totally improvised! Featuring veteran improvisers from The Big HOO-HAA!, Impromptunes and Impro Melbourne, 61 Waratah Lane will transport you to a ‘simpler’ time.

Family Face-Off!

The Big Hoo-Haa Melbourne

Be part of the live studio audience for Family Face-Off, the improv comedy show where classic game show excitement meets the unpredictable hilarity of kooky family dynamics… turned up to eleven!

Blending the nostalgia of 90s game nights with the thrill of live, interactive entertainment. Two improv “families” go head-to-head in a series of challenges, drawing not only on their wits but on the whims of you, the audience.
